They presented the daily schedule of their students and expressed the challenges they face when trying to follow scope and sequence as outlined by the C-Scope curriculum.
Wynona Martin spoke on behalf of Packsaddle Elementary first grade teachers while Nancy Maples and Nancy Brooks spoke for Llano Elementary. However, all say that reading is the key to learning and that has become a real challenge on the kindergarten and first grade level.
